I still remember the time my brother asked me if I could create a system for our trucking business. It was 2011, and I was still a college student — eager to learn and excited by the chance to apply what I was studying. I took on the challenge, unsure at first, but determined to make it work.

I wasn’t just able to build the system he needed — I saw how it improved their operations in ways I didn’t expect. Even more meaningful to me is the fact that the system I built back then is still being used today. That experience gave me confidence, and that was the moment I first dreamed of having my own IT company.

IT was not the path I set out to trod on after graduating from an engineering degree. I just suddenly found myself in the middle of it through my career’s evolution.

The thing I most appreciate about it is the power to make things sophisticatedly simple and the satisfaction it brings when you see the impact it creates in the business environment. When things get automated, data are more accurate and there is discipline in the way things are executed. Being a part of this unit, though challenging in most times, always continues to inspire me to be continuously better at what I do.
